A premium quality light/midweight wool knit- has a felting hand. Great for structured garments- a light knit coat, jacket, sweaters, tops. Very little stretch, about 10% mechanical stretch. Reminds me of a very lightweight wool melton but a knit. Can also be used for quilting, bags, hats.
This is a new fabric for me- would suggest dry cleaning or hand washing.
